February Fishing Comp Results 2010
Perfect weather conditions for the first comp of the year resulted in a huge turn out at BCFC, with 25 anglers weighing a total of 56 fish. An additional 48 fish were released and 2 nice mud crabs from the Bohle River also made it to the scales. It is great to see the Catch and Release divisions continue to grow and worthy of special mention is Rod’s 95cm Giant Trevally and Ward’s 55cm Fingermark caught on fly, both awesome fish released to fight another day. Congratulations to all division winners and in particular to Greg Churchwood who set a new comp record with 350 points. A great effort by all who took part in our first comp for 2010 - looks like we are in for another huge year!
